Included in the purchase of your Tow Skim board is a pack of 4 wristbands: A white band (your Tow Skim Tribe band), an orange, a green and a blue band (representing Knee, Handle and Free Rider levels, respectively).

These bands not only look really cool, they are a means for riders to identify themselves as members of the Tow Skim Tribe and to represent their riding level.

Although we really just want everyone to have fun, we feel that our ‘little riders’ might get more enjoyment from their Tow Skim boards (’their parents‘ investment’) if they have goals to reach and are rewarded for reaching these goals.

Issuing wristbands as Tow Skimmers progress through the riding levels is meant to encourage young riders to challenge themselves, extend the boundaries of their comfort zones and is about setting and achieving goals.

We recommend that Mums and Dads actively encourage their children to achieve the requirements for each rider level, so that graduating to the next level (and being rewarded with the appropriate wristband) becomes a meaningful achievement for them.
